This site is best viewed in 1024x768 screen size with Microsoft Internet ExplorerWelcome to the official VFR Addons Database. This site has has been set up for two main purposes; 1) To provide a server for all users who wish to download autogen and generic scenery for VFR Photoscenery: England & Wales, and 2) To provide a centralised database for those who are interested in actually developing new autogen and scenery for the excellent VFR Photoscenery: England & Wales.
Users
If you are looking for downloadable custom autogen or scenery at specific locations within your VFR Photoscenery, simply type the location name into the 'Location' box above (right-hand side) and then click on the '
Find It!' button. If you wish to only view the last 7 days (new files), simply click on the '
Newest Files' button. Alternatively, you can also click on the '
Lookup Map' button to select available autogen by county name using a clickable image of the United Kingdom.
Tip: if you wish to see all downloadable files available on this server, simply enter a % sign into the search box.
Designers
All members of our scenery design team with active accounts on this server can log in and add their own scenery or autogen, as well as review all autogen tiles both completed or remaining, plus run, view and print reports, export data to CSV files (for importing in a spreadsheet or other application), run filters on tile numbers (or any other field) and do many other things. To log in, simply click on the '
Designer Login' button above...
If you are a scenery or autogen designer and would like to have a new account set up for you, enabling you to add new files to this database please email Shep at raysheppard @ dsl.pipex.com or Ananda at george @ geo-davison.demon.co.uk (remove the spaces - they are there to prevent spam), giving them your name and e-mail address and they'll set one up for you.
Note: We are currently looking for new autogen and scenery designers to join our team. We intend to eventually cover the whole of the UK with custom autogen and scenery, and with your help this is achievable. You can download a tutorial on how to create autogen for VFR Photoscenery here. A big thank you to Shep for providing this tutorial.
Happy flying!
